03/30/12

First post after spring break. The weather has been mostly glorious sun and only partially cloudy i would say only 2/10 cloudy. however as day has turned into night there has been some rain precipitation as well as some thunder and some lightning possibly heat lightning. The temperature has been in the 70's all day the night seems cloudy so the heat will be kept in by that blanket overnight, I expect a warm humid day tomorrow and possibly some more showers as this weather system passes over Eau Claire.

Weather 03/16/12

The weather in Eau Claire was much like the previous couple of days. the skies were clear and sunny with high temperatures. This clear weather is causing all the heat of the day to escape at night which is leading to cool nights and early mornings before the sun begins to shine again. There was no precipitation today but there were some puffy cumulus clouds in the sky there was about 3/10 cloud cover and this is scattered cloud cover. The wind is blowing N/E at 5mph and there looks like there may be a few more clouds tomorrow.  I expect the temperatures to be warm again so i expect the clouds to be evaporated and to have another warm day before everyone heads off for Spring Break !

Weather 03/14/12

The weather again today was beautiful. the sun was shining in a clear sky and the temperature even broke 70 degrees. There was a slight wind from the west but it could not have been more than 2mph there was no precipitation as the sun was hot and evaporation took place. overall a great day and more of the same to come in the coming days!

Weather 03/13/12

The weather in Eau Claire today was a really beautiful day with temperatures in the high 60's the sun was out and there were very few cirrus clouds in the sky. overall i would not even say the cloud cover was 1/10. There was a very light breeze blowing east at 4 mph which is slow. The day was hot and unnaturally warm for this early in the year. Hopefully we will not get another frost and we can transition into spring with this weather continuing. It is forecast that the weather will remain constant for the rest of the week before spring break! The map shows how clear the Midwest region is at the moment which spells good weather in Eau Claire.

Weather 03/12/12

My prediction of rain came true it rained last night and into this morning.there was 10/10 cloud cover today which means it is overcast. there was what looked like cumulo clouds with some vertical development so there is more rain on the way I suspect. The wind was once again pretty slow only 8mph from the East but that tells me we might be in for some storms tomorrow or Wednesday. There was no precipitation during daylight hours today but i expect the temperature to be around the 50 degree mark for the rest of the week. Tomorrow I can see more cloudy skies and some rain potentially a storm. make sure you wear a waterproof.

Weather 03/11/12

The weather today was another beautiful day in Eau Claire. The sun was high in the sky and the temperature was well into the 50s and in the low 60s.  there were no clouds in the sky at the start of the day but the sky became overcast towards the end of the day. the wind is blowing from the SE at around 8mph and this spells more clouds tomorrow and some rain in he next 20-30 hours. My forecast is that there will be more cloudy tomorrow and they may be some rain tomorrow at night or towards the end of the day. I think the temperatures should stay fairly constant at high 50s and 60s being driven by the tropical maritime airmass at the moment. The low pressure system on the map backs up my prediction of rain in the coming days!

Weather 03/09/12

The weather today was a really beautiful sunny day with temperatures reaching the mid 40's. there was 0/10 clouds in the sky and the wind was SE at around 12mph so i suspect we should get some cumulo clouds tomorrow but don't expect any precipitation. There was no precipitation today either so we are still experiencing a pretty dry winter at the moment. The forecast for tomorrow is some clouds some precipitation and generally grey with maybe temperature cooling a little and staying around the mid 30's.
