Weather Videos/ Images

This is a Pretty sweet picture of a bolt of lightning and a froming tornado. It is not considered a full tornado yet because the tip has not made contact with the ground.
This is me at Bay Beach theme park and in the background there are some pretty nice cirrus clouds on a glorious day.

This is an Image of a nice wind map which i created in the lab to show wind speeds across the nation. I thought it looked really cool with the proper isobars plotting actual windspeeds looking professional.

A sign of things to come if we continue to have the unseasonably warm weather. It could be a HOT summer!

An example of a typical wisconsin snowfall event. Something we didn't see much of waking up this year.
This is considered a hurricane in Scotland. It was named Hurricane Bawbag in true Scottish fashion

This is a microclimate map of campus which is displaying temperature however the data is unreliable because some raedings were taken where data could be corrupted by factors which are out of our control. In this map our data was corrupted by a steaming vent which gave our class a very high temperature reading in that particular area. clearly caused by the steaming vent this should be discounted from the map.

This is the same map as above only this time we have removed the distorted data to make the map average much more reliable than before.

This microclimate map depicts wind speed using concentric circles. This means that the highest wind speeds have the largest circles to show that at this point high wind speed was recorded. the circles show this information.

This is a concentric tryangle map that includes the kriging of our study area. The kriging is a spatial analysis tool that just lays out the study area way better than an outline and has hot spots that show the coolest and warmest places on the map which are also shown by the biggest symbols.

This is the concentric circle map of temperatures with no vents just including the kriging and this is the same deal as above.
