Weather 07/02/12

The weather today started off really bright with the sun shining however as the day has gone on more clouds have moved into the Eau Claire area. I would estimate that there is about 70 % cloud cover at the moment. the wind is blowing from the SW and not a very blustery day at around 6mph which is pretty pleasant. i predict for tomorrow that there should be a little more cloud in the sky as there is a high pressure system over Minnesota.

Weather 06/02/12

Another beautiful day of winter in Eau Claire the sky is bright and there is no cloud cover and there has been no precipitation all day. There is a slight wind blowing from the SE at about 4mph. The weather should continue for the next couple of days possibly with more clouds moving into the area. the temp should also pick up in the coming days if cloud cover stays away.

Weather 05/02/12

Today is much more cloudy than yesterday there is currently no precipitation however there is around 80% cloud cover so there is a chance as the clouds look like they are cumulus nimbus clouds. So there is a chance of some later on today! The wind is blowing from the west at about 10 or 12 mph. the temp is around the mid 20's. Overall a great day to stay in and watch the superbowl! I expect more of this weather to continue for the next week with overcast skies and similar low temps.

Weather 04/02/12

Today was a beautiful day with the sun shining in the sky most of the day. Again there was no precipitation and there was only about 10% cloud cover. The wind was fairly brisk all day blowing from the west at around 10 or 12 mph. I would estimate that there should be more of the same tomorrow in Eau Claire for Superbowl Sunday! I was correct thinking that the temperature would reach the 40's hoping for more tomorrow!

Weather 02/03/12

Today the weather is much like yeaterday, there is about 90% cloud cover with a good chance of precipitation over the next few hours. Where there is gaps in the clouds the sun can be spotted and that makes the conditions fairly bright. there is a stronger wind about 7or 8mph blowing from the east. Again there is no precipitation at the moment however we can expect some later or possibly overnight. my prediction for the weekend is that it may be a little brighter and temperature may reach the 40s, whereas it is mid 30s at the moment. 

Weather 02/02/12

There appears to have been some more precipitation overnight again as the roads are wet and there is lots of moisture in the air. The warm air mass has caused there to be lots of evaporation, this had led to lots of cloud cover  as there is 100%. There is currently no precipitation  although I expect some rain later on today. I expect the weather to continue for a couple more days possibly into next week. The wind is blowing from the north at no more than 1mph. The sky is rather grey and gloomy with cumulus nimbus clouds. overall a pretty grey skied day!

Weather 02/01/12

It appears that i was right in my prediction of some precipitation yesterday night. I can tell as the road colour is darker than it would be if it was dry indicating moisture. There is no precipitation falling at the moment although the 100% cloud cover is threatening some in the near future. The wind is very slight as it has been all week, blowing from the south at 2 or 3 mph. The sky conditions are very gloomy. I expect more of the same tomorrow again possibly clearer skies as the system moves through Eau Claire.
